Catalonia Hikes

We start off with a moderate climb up to the chapel of Sant Onofre
taking in views of the Roses peninsular. We then carry on to the mountain
ridge line with a steady decent into Port de la Selva with breathtaking
views of St Pere and St Salvador.

This is a circular walk climbing up to the Sant Ohofre chapel then
continues to the Serra de Rodes (500m) with magnificent views of
the coastline leading to France. A moderate route with some steep inclines.

We start off with a moderate climb up to the chapel Onofre taking in views
of the Roses peninsular. We then carry on to the mountain ridge line with
a steady descent into the town of Llanca continuing with a low level walk
to Vilamanscle through wonderful Spanish countryside.

This moderate route takes you through the Olive groves of Mas Oliva
with a steady ascent to the ridge of the horseshoe. With fantastic views
of the Gulf of Roses and the whole peninsular, we follow this route ending
back were we started in Mas Oliva. This is a very picturesque walk.

This is a moderate to hard route which takes you up past the Dolmens
(burial tombs) to the lower ridge of Serra De Rodes.
Following this to unveil Sant Pere de Rhodes (550m) we zigzag up to
the highest point in the area St Salvador (670m).
The views from the high point are spectacular. From here we lead on
to a smaller path along the ridgeline, until we descend steeply to the
urbanisation of Mas Fumats. This is a great route but may require a
little nerve on the second section of the walk.
